Effective strategies for winning
Tongits Go is not just a game of luck — making the right decisions can significantly improve your chances of winning. Below are some key strategies used by experienced players at 8abd.
| Strategy | Details |
|---|---|
| Build melds quickly | If you have three cards of the same rank or consecutive cards of the same suit in hand, form a meld as fast as possible. |
| Discard high-value cards | Cards that cannot be placed in a meld — especially high-value ones — should be discarded quickly. |
| Watch your opponents | Keep an eye on which cards your opponents are drawing or discarding; this gives you a sense of what they hold. |
| Call "Tongits" at the right moment | Challenge when all your cards are used up or when you are ahead on points against your opponents. |
| Be careful when the stock runs out | Points are counted when the common stock runs out. So keep your own points low before the game ends. |
Key card combos in Tongits Go
